So You Think You Can Dance’s Travis Wall will be one of several members from the New York City dance and ballet community to invade Good Morning America tomorrow.
The backlash from GMA host Lara Spencer’s insensitive comments regarding Prince George’s love of ballet is far from over. Despite issuing an apology for choosing to mock the fact the young Prince loves ballet. Spencer is still under fire.
Wall used Instagram stories last night to reveal he spoke to the disgraced host.

“So Lara Spencer just called me on my cell phone, she got my number from Debbie Allen, and she is completely horrified and just truly just issued this massive apology. I could just hear the horror in her voice,” the 31-year-old professional dancer explained in the video.
The Emmy winner went on to discuss how Spencer wants to speak to him and other members of the ballet community on Monday. A group had already planned to teach free dance lessons outside the GMA studio in the form of a positive protest that would bring more awareness to the dance community.
“She knows there’s a bunch of us, Broadway and a lot of the ballet community here in New York City. We’re going to Good Morning America on Monday morning and taking ballet classes outside. So, she’s aware of it, and she wants to talk to all of us, and she wants to set this thing straight and right. The dance community is incredible, and our voices were heard, which is fantastic. Hooray!” Wall explained in the video.
Social media has exploded with people coming at Spencer for her laughing at Prince George ballet love, as well as saying, “we’ll see how long that lasts.” The hashtags “boys dance too” and “ballet is for everyone” began trending. Users made it clear ballet is for both boys and girls.

Several people also suggested Spencer should educate herself more before making comments that many fans considered “bullying.” Rosie O’Donnell, Cheryl Burke, George Takei, Derek Hough, and Debbie Allen were among those who had an issue with the host’s words.
