Sammy Guevara Pulled Off Shawn Michaels Nod During Double Or Nothing You Might Have Missed
Sammy Guevara was positioned as a huge hero in the Inner Circle’s victory over The Pinnacle. That match concluded the Double or Nothing event and started inside TIAA Field adjacent to Daily’s Place. The Inner Circle had quite an entrance as well.
Chris Jericho’s babyface faction arrived to the Stadium Stampede match via ziplines. Each member had their own apparatus as they were lowered onto the field. During his descent, Sammy Guevara pulled off a pretty great nod to Shawn Michaels.
The Heartbreak Kid made his entrance during WrestleMania XII via zipline. He also pumped his arm a bit in the process. This was the same move that Guevara mimicked on his way down at Double or Nothing.
HBK has influenced a ton of wrestlers with his two-time WWE Hall of Fame career. Obviously, The Spanish God was one of those wrestlers who looked up to Michaels. It also likely caused this Double or Nothing moment.
