The Athletic has live coverage of Bills vs. Eagles in Week 12 action

It’s been a rocky week for the Buffalo Bills. They lost on Monday night to the Broncos due to a comedy of errors. They fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey after another turnover-filled game by Josh Allen. And now, the Bills must face the New York Jets’ defense in a game that may define their season. The Bills will be favored when the division rivals meet in Buffalo.

Kick-off is at 4:25 p.m. ET from Highmark Stadium. CBS will broadcast the game.

The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are sitting outside of the playoff picture in the AFC but have a chance to pick up a big win against a fellow contender on Sunday. If the Jets win, they’ll have the same record as Buffalo and own the tiebreaker.

Things have not gone well for the Bills since they played the Jaguars in Week 5 — the Bills lost LB Matt Milano and DT DaQuan Jones that week. They lost that game and three of the next five.

Josh Allen leads the NFL with 11 interceptions. He’s been intercepted in all but two games this year. Buffalo has not been good to their backers at betting windows this year, either. Buffalo is 3-7 against the spread.

When the Jets knocked off the Bills in the season opener, New York was able to turn the Bills over four times. The Jets also ran the ball for 172 yards that night. Stopping the run has been an issue for the Bills. Buffalo allows 115.2 rushing yards per game, and that inability to stop the run has made the Bills easier to beat. In last week’s loss to the Broncos, Denver had the ball on offense for 71 plays, as opposed to 52 for Buffalo.

Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to play, according to Adam Schefter, despite an elbow injury. He was listed as questionable.
