Beyonce shows off her newly cropped hair: will Miley Cyrus take credit for it?

Beyonce cut her hair! I guess? I’ve always heard that Beyonce almost exclusively wears weaves and wigs in public, and I would imagine that her natural hair is probably not what we’re expecting. At least, before today we didn’t really know what her natural hair looked like. But now we do, I suppose. Unless this is a wig too, which I don’t think it is. I think Beyonce did what a lot of women with overprocessed hair do – she chopped everything off and she’s trying to start fresh. Unfortunately, it sort of looks like she’s copying Miley Cyrus, and by that I mean Beyonce is copying Pink.

There could be another explanation besides “overprocessed hair” and “wanting to look like Miley/Pink”: it could be that Beyonce is tired of having long hair while on her grueling Mrs. Carter Tour. Her weave/hair just got caught in a fan a few weeks ago! So maybe Beyonce just wants to keep cool (temperature-wise). God knows, on really hot days, I think about chopping all my hair off.

I’m not bothered so much by the length, but I wish Beyonce would rethink the color. It looks like she’s going for that same shade of bad blonde that she used to have with her weaves.
